Field Service Technician

About the Company :

Our firm has a Field Service Technician opening with one of the fastest growing distributors in this space. The company has been in business over 50 years and this opening is a growth position. This is an opportunity to grow within the ranks of the service department as they continue to grow.

About the job :

• Inspect, diagnose & perform repairs to customer's equipment in-house & on-site at customer locations. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when needed.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory on your service truck. Prepare for field service jobs by loading the required materials and parts to perform work at customer location.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues regarding equipment and repairs.
• Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and drawings.
• Keep up to date with factory training, tech tips and service bulletins.
• Maintain detailed records and documents of equipment, including repair history.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Compensation :

35 - $45 per hour+ opportunity to earn commissions and work overtime. First year range is 72K - 93K with no cap on earnings. Company truck + company credit card for gas and ordering parts / supplies. Tablet, cell phone and continued education is provided. Full medical, dental, vision, 401k.
