Senior Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, analyzing, and reconciling transactions and general ledger balances, primarily focusing on balance sheet accounts. This individual will play a key role in creating and delivering financial information on a periodic basis and supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting packages.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, analyzing, and reconciling transactions and general ledger balances, mainly balance sheet accounts.
• Create and deliver financial information as requested on a periodic basis.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting packages.
• Perform various monthly and yearly closing activities, including accuracy verification, account reconciliation, and earnings analysis.
• Analyze financial information, prepare financial statements, and provide required analysis for management's decision-making.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors.
• Maintain the accounts payable automation process.
• Develop and maintain monthly flux analysis of balance sheet accounts.
• Support the creation and definition of internal financial controls, including SOX-level as needed.
• Assist with technical accounting activities, projects, and policies as directed.
• Support the yearly audit.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Financial Systems to implement process improvements via automation and workflows to achieve a 10-day close schedule.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
