job_description.job_card.job_descriptionKey Responsibilities Evaluate and annotate code snippets, scripts, and software tasks for accuracy and quality. - Identify logical errors, inefficiencies, and improvements in code samples. - Provide structured feedback on programming logic, implementation, and clarity. - Work independently to meet daily annotation and review goals. - Maintain consistency and precision when applying labeling guidelines. ### Ideal Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - Proficiency in more than one major programming language (Python, C++, Go, or Java). - Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, debugging, and code analysis. - Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Prior experience working on structured software engineering evaluations or benchmarks is a plus. - Residency in one of the following regions : United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. ### More About the Opportunity Fully remote and asynchronous — set your own schedule. - Expected commitment : 20–30 hours per week. - Project duration : approximately 2 weeks. - Short-term, high-intensity contract supporting cutting-edge AI development. ### Compensation & Contract Terms Payments processed weekly via Stripe Connect. - Engagement structured as an independent contractor relationship. ### Application Process Submit your resume and / or GitHub portfolio to begin. - Complete a required technical assessment as part of the selection process. - Applicants will be notified of next steps within 5–7 business days after submission. ### About Mercor Mercor is a talent marketplace connecting top experts with leading AI labs and research organizations. - Our investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Adam D’Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey. - Thousands of professionals across engineering, research, law, and creative fields collaborate through Mercor on frontier projects shaping the next era of AI.
