VCA Encina Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for an Emergency (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Swing Shift position.

Qualifications :

1 + year(s) experience in Veterinary Medicine

Ability totriage, assess, and examine critical patients

Our hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment that includes CT, ultrasound, endoscopy. With access to a wide variety of equipment and resources, you can provide the highest quality care to our patients.

VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical / Dental / Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, and health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $25-32 / hour (dependent on experience). The shift differential rate for overnight is 25% on top of base pay, which is applied automatically.

Alternative work week (four 10 hour shifts) is offered.

VACSP is required and will be reimbursed by the hospital.
