Microsoft SQL Database Administrator

Infosys is seeking for a Microsoft SQLDatabase administrator. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other infrastructure admins application teams engineering teams and other cross functional teams. Responsibilities will include incident management change management problem management and request fulfilment activities along with ensuring database performance availability security compliance and automation across hybrid environments while maintaining best practices.

Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha NE or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in US.
• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with Database Administration on MS SQL Server (SQL Server 2016 and above)
• Design develop and maintain stored procedures functions and scripts .
• Monitor and optimize database performance using SQL Profiler Query Store .
• Implement Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and data collection processes.
• Expertise in SSIS SSRS and SSMS for implementing ETL solutions data integration and reporting.
• Hands on experience on scripting language -PowerShell or Bash or Python.
• Manage database backups and restorations.
• Utilize Dynatrace Idera for proactive monitoring
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours
