Full Time, Onsite Schedule : Monday - Friday (Swing and Day Shift), with limited after hours and weekends as required Starting Wage : $18.50 - $21.50, depending on experience, plus $1.25 shift differential for Swing Farwest Steel's Operations Department seeks a knowledgeable and dependable individual to join their team as Production Assistant. Identify parts associated with a specific order, process parts, and clean up per instructions on the work order using grinders and hand tools. Stack parts on pallets or in bundles and mark with pertinent information from the work order for delivery or storage. Remove small cut parts from the burning tables by hand when needed. Identify all questionable quality issues and present them for review by the supervisor to ensure that customer expectations are met on every order. Load and unload vehicles including inbound deliveries and customer will calls. Sort and prepare parts for the processing area. Occasional forklift and crane operation as needed. High school diploma or equivalent optional. Preferred Qualifications Prior Warehouse Experience is a plus Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
