Job Overview :

The Director of Nursing for Cardiovascular Services is responsible for providing 24-hour leadership, oversight, and direction for assigned cardiovascular nursing departments. This role ensures that nursing operations align with organizational mission, regulatory standards, and policies. The Director serves as a mentor and leader, fostering staff development and strong collaborative relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. They manage clinical, administrative, and financial activities to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient and employee satisfaction outcomes.

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred or within two years of completion
• Current RN license valid in the applicable state
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a management role in cardiovascular nursing
• Proven experience and direct involvement with VAD / LVAD and ECMO programs, explicitly listed on the resume
