Job Description

Our team is seeking a Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience with exceptional expertise in C / C++ programming to support our industry-leading Command and Control (C2) product line. This role is ideal for dedicated coders who thrive on solving complex challenges and making a tangible impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The salary ranges for our Software Engineers will be as follows :

(all ranges are based on experience and location) :

Software Engineer 1 (0-4 years) : $70,000 - $95,000

Software Engineer 2 (3-7 years) : $90,000 - $115,000

Software Engineer 3 (6-10 years) : $110,000 - $135,000

Software Engineer 4 (9+ years) : $130,000 - $155,000

This position may be worked in Austin, TX or Huntsville, AL.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• To qualify as a level 4 SW Engineer, must have a minimum 9 years of professional experience in software development.
• US Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance to access facilities required to perform work.
• Extensive experience with programming languages C and C++. ADA and / or FORTRAN highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field. Candidates without a degree, but with experience are encouraged to apply.

Desired Skills & Qualifications :

A professional at this grade applies technical knowledge, making independent judgements based on significant previous experience to support decision making. Often seen as a referral point or more senior team member to escalate more complex problems. Roles will act independently with minimal guidance, and may act as project managers / formal mentors for junior staff.
