We’re seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to help drive meaningful HR initiatives that support employee engagement, development, and organizational compliance.

SUMMARY : The Human Resource Generalist will support the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including employee retention and relations, training and development, administering benefits and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
LOCATION : South of Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Partner with the CHRO and Director of HR to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy.Provide support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodation, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.Advise and assist employees in navigating through benefits and eligibility.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Assist and maintain FMLA, Employee Leave, and Benefit paperwork.Collaborate with corporate recruiters and department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Administer learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements :
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES :
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Specifically in Texas, California, Illinois, Florida, and New York laws preferred.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
3+ years of experience in Human Resources; at least 1 year in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.Comprehensive knowledge of Texas employment laws, as well as employment and benefits regulations in California, Illinois, Florida, and / or New York.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.WORK ENVIRONMENT : To perform this job successfully, the individual must withstand long periods of sitting, looking at a computer monitor, and phone handling for approximately 8-12 hours daily.
