Overview :
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing private lending firm specializing in hard money loans for real estate investors, developers, and entrepreneurs. Their mission is to provide fast, flexible, and reliable funding solutions with a personalized approach. They are seeking a seasoned Loan Processor with a strong background in hard money or private lending to join our team and help us scale while maintaining service excellence. As an Experienced Loan Processor, you will be responsible for managing and processing a pipeline of hard money loan files from application to funding. You will work closely with borrowers, brokers, underwriters, title / escrow officers, and internal team members to ensure a smooth, compliant, and timely closing process.
Responsibilities :
Review and process loan applications for hard money / residential and commercial real estate transactions
Collect, verify, and organize all required documentation including borrower financials, property details, title reports, insurance, and appraisals
Coordinate with underwriting, title / escrow, and closing departments to clear conditions and meet funding deadlines
Order and review third-party services such as credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title, and payoff demands
Maintain accurate loan files and update loan status in LOS or CRM systems
Communicate proactively with borrowers and brokers throughout the loan process to ensure transparency and manage expectations
Identify and resolve issues that may delay closings and escalate when necessary
Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and state / federal lending regulations specific to private lending
Qualifications :
Minimum 3–5 years of loan processing experience, with at least 2 years in hard money or private lending
Solid understanding of real estate investment financing, asset-based lending, and loan structuring
Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS), CRMs, and digital document management platforms
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline under tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
Experience working with residential, multifamily, or commercial real estate loans preferred
Knowledge of title, escrow, insurance, and closing processes
Experience working with fix-and-flip, bridge, or construction loans
Familiarity with compliance requirements specific to private lenders
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus
