Job Summary :

An Embroidery Employee is responsible for creating intricate and high-quality embroidery designs on various fabrics and materials. This role involves both hand and machine embroidery techniques to meet client specifications and ensure the final product meets quality standards.

Essential Job Functions :

Understand the embroidery requirements and specifications.

Use software programs to create or modify embroidery designs.

Choose appropriate threads, fabrics, and needles based on design requirements.

Set up and operate embroidery machines, ensuring they are correctly threaded and adjusted.

Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions.

Perform hand embroidery when necessary to achieve specific design details.

Inspect completed work for defects and make necessary adjustments.

Maintain and repair embroidery equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Education / Experience :

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

One year experience in textile industry

2 years sewing experience

Strong knowledge of sewing machine operations

Experience maintaining industrial sewing machines (Zig zag, straight stitch, post, and chenille machines)

Job Requirements :

Able to stand throughout shift

Ability to work safely, including but not limited to use of proper personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes

Able to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, according to the season

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Must be able to climb ladders

Must be able to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively

May be exposed to high noise areas

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SPANISH LANGUAGE FLUENCY WITH VALID TRAVEL PAPERS - TO BE TRAINED IN MEXICO
