Job Title : Operations Assistant

Location : Charleston, SC

Pay : $18 - $25

Job Description :

Black Dog Junk Removal and Rooter Man are looking for a dependable Field & Shop Operations Assistant to serve as a floater between our two businesses as workloads demand. This role offers variety and hands-on work, giving you exposure to both plumbing operations and junk removal services in Charleston.

Key Responsibilities :

• Check and maintain plumbing stock for Rooter Man, ensuring all materials and tools are ready for upcoming jobs.
• Pick up and deliver job materials to plumbing job sites.
• Assist plumbers on site with larger jobs as needed.
• Support the Black Dog Junk Removal crew by loading and unloading heavy items, including furniture, appliances, and other household junk.
• Maintain a safe and organized shop and work environment.

Qualifications :

• Valid South Carolina drivers license.
• Clean driving record for at least the last 3 years (insurance requirement).
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in both plumbing and junk removal settings.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
