Supports the operation of front and back-end fare collection systems, including installations, reporting, and monitoring. Troubleshooting network issues with various departments
Roles / Responsibilities :
- Supports Point of Sale & Fare collection systems, including but not limited to testing, development,installation, reporting and monitoring.
- Required to travel for equipment installations, monitoring, training, etc.
- Manages day to day testing and implementation of technological advancements and software upgrades. Assist troubleshooting production issues.
- Provide technical guidance and acts as liaison to user departments and vendors for the coordination of equipment installations, implementation, and end user training.
- Required to assist in other areas within POS and Fare Collection Department,including but not limited to TVM's, TOM's, Platform Validators, OBVs.
Technical Skills / Knowledge :
Experience with SAP desired but not required.Knowledge in fare collection technology desired but not required.Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to make important decisions under pressure.Problem-solving skills.Knowledge with Microsoft Office application.Motivated and organized.Knowledge with Excel.Valid driver's license is required.
