Sales Support Manager
As a Sales Support Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the sales and product development team has the resources and tools to complete their tasks and meet a business's goals. This role will also encompass assisting Company President in management meetings and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts for day-to-day needs
- Assist sales teams with growth opportunities such as presentations, samples, store retail checks.
- Works with data analysts on report requests, sales tracking, and sales analysis reporting.
- Coordination of customer forms to gather all information needed for item set up.
- Price change forms and implementation by customer
- Submitting sample requests from sales and product development team
- Monitor ship dates for customers and communicating changes to sales team
- Assist with trade shows as assigned.
- Keep team net and Product Guide up to date for sales and customer service team.
- Generate assignments and track Base Camp projects for sales team
- Generate assignments and track projects for new item development team
- Other duties from product development team as assigned.
- Assist President with meetings and scheduling and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFYING SKILLS REQUIREMENT :
Familiar with food retail and food manufacturing salesFamiliar with Project management skills and all facets of selling, ordering, production Must have excellent knowledge and skills in computers Excel, Outlook, Internet browsing and practical application of mathematics to solve problems. Prior experience with sales technology is preferred.Must have good influencing skills to provide the customer with opportunities in conjunction with sales team.Must have excellent communication skills to represent the company to external customers and exchange information in person, in writing, by telephone, or e-mail.Must have exceptional skills developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with both customers and across the business. Dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.Must demonstrate critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning skills to identify the challenges and opportunities of alternative options. Analyzing information and evaluating options and implementing the best solution.Must have excellent time management skills.Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
