Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas.

Duties :

  • Identify potential business risks and actively contribute to user story definition to ensure quality and compliance
  • Define, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans aligned with project requirements
  • Apply creativity and innovative thinking to support the development of cutting-edge store technology solutions
  • Design and develop automation frameworks from the ground up to enhance testing efficiency and reliability
  • Create and maintain automation scripts for newly added functional test cases, ensuring robust test coverage
  • Utilize strong programming knowledge in one or more languages (JavaScript, Java, C#) to support automation initiatives
  • Work with industry-standard test tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, JMeter, Postman) to execute and optimize testing processes

Desired Skills / Experience :

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with proven expertise in designing and executing automated test solutions
  • 1+ years of experience working with MongoDB, Node.js, and AWS services such as : Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as : JavaScript, Java, C# with strong problem-solving and development skills
  • Practical experience in web testing and automation framework development
  • Skilled in using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks such as : Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, JMeter, Postman
  • Strong understanding and practical application of TDD and BDD methodologies, including Gherkin
  • Familiarity with CI / CD processes, including pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
  • Knowledge of retail systems with a focus on POS (Point-of-Sale) validations
  • Strong QA mindset with the ability to collaborate across engineering and non-engineering teams, embracing both building and breaking software to ensure quality
  • Demonstrated creativity, adaptability, and a team-oriented approach to problem-solving

  • The approximate pay range for this position is between $43.00 and $62.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
