As a Security Officer - Building Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your presence helps to deter potential security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying based on the location. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential threats to the appropriate personnel. Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any discrepancies. Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and / or other site-specific protocols as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site procedures. Minimum Requirements : Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Guard card or license is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
