What you can expect from this role

• Schedule : Five week rotation : 7 on first call, 7 off, 7 on second call, 4 off with three in-house 12 hours shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Call hours are Monday - Friday 7pm - 7am, Sat & Sun are 24 hour call which rotates between first and second call. 36 in-house hours every 5 weeks with the rest of the hours being on-call only. This schedule provides up to 176 days off per year!

Qualifications

Education : High school diploma or equivalent

Licenses / Certifications : Current certification in one of the following :

Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualification : Neurosurgery Experience
