Internal Communications Manager
The Internal Communications Manager plays a critical role in shaping and executing Coca-Cola Consolidated's internal communications strategy with integrity, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. This position is not only about delivering messages, it's about serving our teammates and business partners by ensuring they feel informed, valued, and connected. Guided by the principles of Servant Leadership, the role prioritizes listening, empathy, and collaboration to foster trust and engagement across the organization. The manager supports overall communications strategy, planning, and execution, including copywriting, editing, and videography, while advising leadership on effective communication approaches.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Report to the Director of Internal Communications.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales and Service leadership, ensuring communication strategies reflect the needs of teammates and empower them to succeed.
- Plan, manage, and execute internal communication strategies for Sales and Service organizations with a focus on clarity, transparency, and inclusion.
- Develop and implement communication plans for enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational values and priorities.
- Publish engaging content on the Company's digital platforms, including One Team (FirstUp), that informs and inspires teammates.
- Monitor teammate engagement and collaborate with partners to recommend solutions that enhance connection and belonging.
- Actively seek feedback from teammates and leaders to continuously improve communication effectiveness and foster a culture of openness.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong storytelling ability, particularly in sales and manufacturing environments, with an emphasis on elevating teammate exposure.Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with attention to tone and clarity.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a service-oriented mindset.Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with hands-on execution.Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms; experience with Canva, Adobe, and other creative software.Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaboration.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Executive Communications.Experience supporting senior leaders and fostering engagement through servant leadership principles.Work Environment
