Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Inspector 2 and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing processes. This on-site position is located at our Buffalo, NY campus and requires a dedicated individual to inspect electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical units for structural flaws and defects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and completed products using predetermined methods and prescribed specifications.
• Utilize various measuring devices to assess structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings, or inspection instructions and checklists.
• Monitor and verify quality through statistical processes or other control procedures.
• Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site at our Buffalo, NY campus. It is a full-time role with a 2nd shift schedule, operating on a 5 / 40 workweek. The work environment is dynamic and requires the use of various technologies and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $49.00 / hr.
