A comprehensive multi-services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of their growing facilities in Staten Island.

About the Opportunity :

  • Setting : Article 16 Clinic
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday
  • Hours : 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
  • Patient Population : Adults (Ages 18+)
  • EMR : PrecisionCare

Responsibilities :

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will :

  • Planand implementprescribed OT treatment programs for persons receiving services to maintain and / or restore function secondary to acute or chronic disability
  • Conductannual screens
  • Make assessments
  • Performdaily documentation
  • Handle other duties, as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school
  • NYS Occupational Therapist (OT)license
  • Knowledge in the use of mobility devices and therapeutic exercises
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience with wheelchair assessment
  • Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
