About The Position

Western Colorado pemier healthcare facility, Valley View Hospital has an opportunity for 1 Outpatient Full-time Physical Therapist's located at on our Valley View Campus in Glenwood Springs, CO. Due to increase in volume we are working to shorten our wait time for patients, so increasing our Rehab staff #'s to accomodate. In this position, you will evaluate patients and develop and implement an appropriate treatment plan for a variety of diagnoses. Your goal will be to improve patients strength, ROM, balance, safety and function. You ll also educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs. Schedule : Working 4-10 hour days / week, weekdays will vary , but will include a Saturday schedule. Leaves 3 days a week to go play in the mountains and slopes! Housing Oppurtunity : Valley View has newly remodeled studio apartments available literally 1 / 2 block from the hospital for $1790 / month (studio) $1980 / month (small1 bedroom) - includes Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry room and fully furnished. No pets, no deposit, just move in ready! Available to Travelers during their assignment based on availability. QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor s degree in physical therapy Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or compact for Colorado At least two years of PT experience; 3-5 years is preferred. BLS through the American Heart Association.
