ELECTRICAL SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of  Electrical Senior Estimator in Phoenix, AZ.

Electrical Senior Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the  Electrical Senior Estimator in Phoenix, AZ is $90,000 - $130,000.

Electrical Senior Estimator Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of estimators, ensuring all estimates are accurate, timely, and aligned with company processes and expectations.

Partner with the Director of Preconstruction to review incoming opportunities, maintain a healthy project backlog, and delegate assignments to the Estimating Team accordingly.

Analyze project drawings, specs, and supporting documents to prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates.

Collaborate closely with vendors, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure the most current pricing and project data is reflected in estimates.

Identify and recommend cost-effective materials, systems, and construction methods that meet project requirements.

Continuously assess and refine estimating practices to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

Conduct final reviews of all estimates prior to submission, verifying completeness, accuracy, and adherence to scope.

Electrical Senior Estimator Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

10+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects.

Background in large-scale industrial, commercial, or healthcare projects is highly preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior estimators.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of interpreting complex project data into clear cost projections.

Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to present estimates and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Proficient in estimating software such as Accubid , McCormick , and Microsoft Office Suite.

Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.

  • Able to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while staying organized and meeting tight deadlines.
