Program Manager, Principal

Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Security Clearance; TS and SCI eligible. Travel Requirements : Up to 25% Location : Norfolk, VA SUMMARY : WR has a potential opportunity for a Program Manager, Principal to be responsible for the coordinated management of interdependent and related projects, and for supporting ongoing operations directed towards a common objective including the achievement of a set of business-related goals. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following : Manage and provide programmatic oversight over complex, risky, strategic, and demanding programs. Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program. Manage and balance customer expectations with internal business goals and participates in business planning efforts and alignment of target goals. Establish direction for functional team and direct reports. Maintain responsibility for all technical and managerial aspects of contract performance, including implementation, technical assistance and program life-cycle support. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience : Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Math, Management Information Systems (MIS) or Business. Fifteen (15)+ years of experience in support of Navy Electronics Systems including : Eight (8) years of program management experience to include : Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning. Five (5) years as an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT). Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policies. Demonstrated success in managing a contract portfolio in excess of $100M. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Skype. Preferred : PMP certification
