Sourcing Operations Specialist

As the Sourcing Operations Specialist youll act as an independent contributor supporting strategic sourcing activities. These include preparing bids soliciting supplier quotes conducting bid analysis reporting on projects engaging with suppliers and internal business stakeholders and managing supplier set up. Youll manage a high volume of low- to medium-complexity projects and act as the subject matter expert in the tools and processes used in sourcing activities. Youll contribute to the standardization of sourcing activities while improving executional efficiencies.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do

• Execute sourcing tactics such as RFI RFQ RFP eAuctions Collaborative Requisitioning and 3 Bids & a Buy
• Request quotes from existing suppliers as directed by category managers
• Support contract related tasks including processing extensions amendments exhibits and NDAs
• Provide regular updates on project status to category managers and stakeholders
• Ensure accurate data entry and proper project closure in line with team standards
• Manage the CAF / DocuSign routing process in accordance with applicable policies
