Forms+Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural products used in public spaces around the world. As a Quality Specialist and part of our Phoenix manufacturing team, you will perform daily inspections of product, materials, assemblies, and audits in accordance with standards procedures. You must maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products while recording quality results. Follow inspections and quality procedures, blue prints, drawings, and work instructions. Demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Examines products at various stages in the production process to identify defects and completes appropriate testing of products as needed.
  • Documents all defects with recommended necessary repairs / rejections and reroutes defected projects to appropriate area for correction.
  • Reviews manufacturing documentation to ensure that all assembly, testing, and inspection steps were performed in accordance to specifications.
  • Ensures product meets all quality specifications and established standards and procedures.
  • Completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection.
  • Be flexible and willing to cross train in all areas.
  • Ensure a safe environment by keeping a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to communicate all issues and / or problems.
  • Must be able to read prints / drawings
  • Pay close attention to details
  • Must be organizes in all aspects of work
  • Able to work safely while getting the job done promptly
  • Must be available on short notice to stay later than 8hr shift and work a Sat or Sun on short notice
