What You'll Do

As an IP / ER Nursing Lead , you'll serve as the on-shift leader for inpatient and emergency nursing teams. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth department flow, supporting patient care needs, and empowering your fellow nurses and assistants.

• Act as the primary point of contact for doctors, nurses, and assistants to coordinate inpatient and emergency cases
• Guide, mentor, and support nursing staff throughout your shif
• Redirect responsibilities as needed to keep departments efficient, especially during high caseloads or staffing gaps
• Serve as the contact for call-outs, tardiness, early departures, or late stays during your shif
• Promote a collaborative, respectful, and positive work environment
• Ensure emergencies are triaged efficiently and critical patients receive timely care
• Maintain general awareness of all inpatients to support communication and continuity
• Assist with procedures, diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring as needed
• Provide support to CSRs for inpatient-related questions and care coordination
