We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to join a high-impact team responsible for developing advanced analytics solutions and deploying machine learning models to optimize operations and inform strategic decision-making. This role combines hands-on data infrastructure work with AI / ML model development and cross-functional collaboration.
You will serve as a technical lead in shaping the organization’s data strategy, maintaining and improving data systems, and delivering innovative solutions that solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Modeling
- Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for predictive analytics and decision support
- Deliver actionable insights using statistical modeling, data mining, and AI
- Monitor model performance and continuously refine based on new data and feedback
Infrastructure & Systems
Maintain, upgrade, and optimize data pipelines and storage systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and scalabilitySupport networks and servers tied to data infrastructure across departmentsImplement best practices in data security, governance, and complianceCollaboration & Strategy
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Marketing) to understand needs and deliver tailored solutionsResearch and apply new data science techniques to improve efficiency and innovationMentor junior analysts and serve as a subject matter expert on data-related initiativesDocumentation & Support
Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation of models, systems, and projectsProvide advanced support for mission-critical business functionsDevelop contingency and recovery plans for data infrastructureMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analyticsProficient in Python, SQL, R, and machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow)Strong understanding of data infrastructure, security, and cloud platformsPreferred Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related disciplineExperience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, and AWS ML tools (e.g., SageMaker)Background in GIS or ESRI-based spatial analyticsCertifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Scientist Associate, or Databricks ML PractitionerPrior experience leading projects or mentoring team membersKey Skills & Competencies
