Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to dedicate locations in the Vista, Ca area daily, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently and on time. No loading or unloading. Drop and hook only.

Responsibilities

  • Operate truck with 53' trailers into tight loading docks.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively and back trailer into tight spaces.
  • Strong understanding of route driving techniques and navigation systems.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
