Position Title : Business Development Representative

Reports To : Sales Manager

Position Overview

Lucia Landscaping Inc. is seeking a motivated and goal-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, reaching out to potential clients, and scheduling meetings for our sales representatives. You’ll play a critical part in driving company growth and expanding our client base.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify new business opportunities and potential clients across target markets

Proactively engage prospects via cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach

Effectively present the value and services of Lucia Landscaping to potential clients

Understand client needs and recommend appropriate services and solutions

Qualify leads and book appointments or discovery calls for the sales team

Maintain and update lead and opportunity data using CRM software

Follow up with prospects and communicate relevant insights to the sales team

Work closely with the sales and marketing departments to support campaign execution and goal achievement

Build and nurture a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent opportunity flow

Participate in weekly performance discussions with the Sales Manager

Contribute to overall team success by helping meet and exceed monthly and annual goals

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with a high level of energy and persistence

Comfortable making cold calls and initiating contact with potential clients

Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up habits

Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer service is a plus

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite

Achieve monthly and annual sales goals

Maintain and grow a strong lead pipeline

Deliver results that meet or exceed budgeted targets

Ensure steady workflow for the production team through strong sales backlog
