Project Manager - Costuming Casual Temporary (CT) / Seasonal

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of global Costuming initiatives, including the concurrent management of projects with multi-year durations and budgets ranging from small to many millions. The types of projects include, but are not limited to, developing new business applications and system integrations, identifying and evaluating new business models, driving globalization and new business opportunities, and process improvement for our end-to-end supply chain.
This position reports to the Senior Manager - Projects & Initiatives.
This is a Casual Temporary (CT) or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
What You Will Do :
- Establish project scopes, detailed business requirements, timelines, budgets and cash flows
- Serves as the primary liaison between multiple teams, including Costuming (domestic and international sites), Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Legal, Technology & Digital, and external vendors
- Right-sizes project management methodology and tools to the individual needs of each project
- Assesses project risks and formulate mitigation plans
- Cultivates relationships with business partners in our theme parks and resorts worldwide to influence and drive projects and standard process sharing across sites
- Provides briefings and status reports to executives, leaders and team members on a regular basis, identifying key milestones and critical path elements
- Ensures accurate project closure including retrospectives / lessons learned, documentation for all processes and systems, and final financial reporting
Required Qualifications & Skills :
3+ years of experience leading multi-year programs / projects with large budgetsCertification in one or more of the following areas : Project Management (i.e. CAPM, PMP, etc.), Agile (i.e. PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, etc.), Business Analysis (i.e. PMI-PBA, CBAP, etc.), Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt or Master Black Belt), ITIL, Supply ChainExperience with multiple project management methodologies, as well as experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DMAIC, DFSS, etc.)Demonstrated ability to collaborate and navigate compromise, consistently achieving win / win agreements and outcomesEffective in communicating (written & verbal) with all levels of partnersSkilled facilitator that can lead project meetings and large workshops driving commitments, accountability, and deliverablesPrior experience delivering projects timely and on-budget while communicating with executive leadership, sponsors and clientsSkilled in root cause analysis and problem solvingProficient in project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, MS Project, etc.)Experience working in a business environment where cost benefit and return on investment analysis are key decision factorsPreferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of Disney Theme Parks & Resorts, Disney Cruise Line and Costuming operationsFamiliarity with Costuming specific systems and technology including RFID, GUS, SAP Inventory Management, and SAP Warehouse ManagementPrior experience with SQL programming and business intelligence tools (i.e. Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, etc.)Familiar with supply chain principles and strategiesExperience leading supply chain, consulting or business integration projectsEducation :
