About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) to lead its fundraising efforts and support the organization's mission to end homelessness. The CPO will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive, multi-channel fundraising strategy, with a focus on major gifts, corporate partnerships, annual giving, grants, and special events. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in philanthropy, including the ability to set and achieve ambitious revenue goals. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building and strengthening the operational infrastructure necessary to support the organization's growth and will be expected to uphold the highest standards of fundraising ethics and compliance. Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in fundraising, with at least 7-10 years in a senior leadership role. A deep passion for the mission and a strong understanding of the complexities of homelessness, housing, and social equity are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in a related social impact field and experience working with engaged boards and donors, particularly within the philanthropic community. Strong operational and financial acumen, as well as the ability to lead a team in leveraging technology to enhance donor insights and campaign execution, are also required. The CPO will be expected to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of fundraising and to foster a culture of shared leadership and equity-informed decision-making.
