What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards or irregularities encountered during patrols. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and / or travelers to provide assistance and information as requested. Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site leadership. Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any maintenance or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements : Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. This post is primarily a driving post and this is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
