We are actively seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join and grow in the PPG organization. Tampa Bay Machining, a Princeton Precision Group company, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support their production team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience programming 3-5 axis CNC equipment.

Requirements :

Program parts in conformance with the router process

Daily shop floor responsibilities including addressing in the moment challenges will be a large portion of the responsibilities of this role

Set up / prove out your program on the CNC machine, if needed.

Program from solid model files, drawings, and sketches

Read and interpret blueprints and design models

Develop fixtures and work holding devices

Provide fully dimensional prints for the shop floor on parts that have reduced dimension drawings

Attend training on new or current software as needed

Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to resolve blueprint and model issues related to the programming and machining of various parts

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Program 3-4 axis machines

5 axis programming preferred but not required

Lathe programming preferred but not required

Proficient in geometric tolerancing

High school diploma or equivalent

5 or more years of Mastercam experience

Experience with tight tolerance manufacturing

5 or more years of experience setting up CNC machinery

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Expert level attention to Detail

Compensation :

Compensation for this role is based upon years of industry specific experience
