Surgical Services - Certified Surgical Technologist - Surgical Services

Full-Time Position and PRN

$5,000 sign-on bonus; no nights, weekends, or holidays. No call!

Assist with the care of patients in the surgical suite including the Operating Room by performing routine scrub assignments and assigned duties according to their scope of education and experience and under the supervision of an RN. Experience required, strong ortho preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech Program
• Certification / Licensure : Current CST Certification & BLS

Functions of the Position :

The Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He / she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
