Position Overview

The ideal Fulfillment Manager is a capable self-starter who is resourceful in solving problems with minimal direction and thrives in a challenging yet fun environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintain a professional, positive, and collaborative approach to challenges, opportunities, and team members.
  • Oversee daily order processing, fulfillment (including picking and packing), warehouse operations, inventory and order tracking, quality control, and shipping preparation.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with other internal department heads and team members, including but not limited to purchasing, customer service, sales, inventory control, marketing, and human resources.
  • Continuously work to improve morale and drive direct reports to achieve goals, targets and deadlines set by management. Utilize all tools and efforts to incorporate policies and goals within the internal team.
  • Establish proper communication channels for Warehouse, Shipping / Receiving, and Fulfillment teams as it relates to KPI’s, expectations, process changes, process improvements, etc.
  • Focus attention and communicate with management on all safety concerns, cost saving opportunities, process changes and / or all subordinate team member’s ideas thereof.
  • Direct and manage Warehouse, Shipping / Receiving and Fulfillment teams regarding staffing, processes, and changes including upper management approval.
  • Ensure efficient, organized warehouse operations and storage.
  • Manage and promote vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all products are received and shipped on time as well as promote on time deliveries to prevent any stock outs and / or opportunities for missed sales.
  • Report weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPI’s for respective distribution center
  • Attend leadership meetings, as required.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and proactively address occupational hazards.
  • Maintain a solid line of communication with all departments, including upper management.
  • Responsible for the security, maintenance, and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the applicable location and its teams.

Is this role for you?

  • Previous management and distribution experience
  • Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, leadership and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and self-motivate. Attention to detail and Customer Focused
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Netsuite, UPS WorldShip, RF Smart experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand, customer-oriented warehouse environment.
