What will I be doing?
The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the group sales team at your hotel / complex and participate in business strategies that are creative, dynamic and impactful toward achieving your hotel’s annual budget and crossover targets. I will own a key vertical market for the hotel and provide leadership support to commercial strategies.
- Customer and Account Management – Apply strong sales skills to create customer value and differentiate Hilton.
- Prospecting – Demonstrate mastery of the prospecting process, identify potential customers and implement the call strategy.
- Negotiations – Adapt to changing market conditions and secure new revenue.
Strategy
Contribute to the hotel’s Annual Multi‑Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy in partnership with the hotel commercial leadership team and regional sales, revenue and marketing support.Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business.Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events.Create monthly, quarterly and annual business plans for a designated market.Maintain an up‑to‑date pipeline of business opportunities that meet short‑ and long‑term objectives.Represent the hotel in all customer interactions, including proposals and contracts.Conduct site inspections with expert storytelling tailored to customer needs.Maintain a clear understanding of competitive marketplace and industry trends.Leadership
Lead daily and weekly business review and sales strategy meetings.Collaborate with DOSM / DOS to contribute to the commercial strategy plan.Contribute to development of hotel’s sales site visit strategies.Ensure conformity to Hilton brand standards and corporate identity.Lead enterprise and hotel‑level sales initiatives such as America’s Week of Engagement, Global Week of Engagement, Sales Accelerators, and Team Member Appreciation Week.Support sales team members while they are absent or remote.Provide feedback for performance reviews of all sales managers and support.Facilitate a culture aligned with Hilton’s DEI and ESG goals.What are we looking for?
Minimum qualifications :
Preferred : Bachelor’s degree.Minimum 4 years of hotel sales experience with a consistent track record of achieving annual production goals.Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes.Highly professional presentation, oral and written communication skills.Desired capabilities and distinctions :
Affiliation with professional organizations related to the travel industry.Full‑service hotel experience.Proficiency in Delphi FDC.Values we look for :
