job_description.job_card.job_descriptionInspect the property to identify necessary repairs or updates. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. Assist with ground maintenance tasks, including shoveling walkways and removing trash. Assist with painting and hanging drywall as needed. Maintain an inventory of spare parts based on our most likely needs. Keep maintenance logs. Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc. Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, use of floor scrubber for deep cleaning for the quarterly checklist, wrap machine and dock doors cleaning. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations. Report to a plant or maintenance manager for issues. Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures. Complies with all company rules and safety regulations. Experience / knowledge of lock out tag out procedures. Keeps and maintains maintenance logs and turn in end of shift reports. Loads, unloads, and moves equipment as necessary. Ability to communicate and coordinate with outside contractors on projects. Must be able to comply with company GMP’s and General Health & Safety. Facilities maintenance or carpentry experience (preferred). Specialized experience with plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems (a plus). EPA certification (a plus). Familiarity with basic hand and power tools. Forklift Experience. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required. Valid driver's license Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
