A highly respected healthcare facility in Columbia, MO is hiring a Controller! Come join a team dedicated to quality care and operational excellence where your leadership will make an impact.

  • Pay : $105,000 – $120,000 annually
  • 25% salary-based incentive bonus + relocation assistance available!

Controller Opportunity :

  • Full-time, direct-hire position
  • Schedule : Mon – Fri, day shift
  • The Controller must be available for occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.

    • Controller Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all hospital financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls, while leading and motivating accounting staff to meet departmental goals.
  • Manage the full accounting cycle — billing, A / R, A / P, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting — for inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services.
  • Prepare and submit financial packages, forecasts, cost reports, and required state filings; monitor labor productivity and ensure compliance with Medicare and corporate policies.
  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, supporting a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement; participate in leadership meetings and ensure completion of all required training and reporting.

    • Controller Qualifications :

  • Must have at minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Management with a major in Accounting.
  • At least five years of hospital accounting experience.
  • At least one year of experience as a financial leader in a healthcare setting.
  • CPA certification preferred
