Senior Geologist

Our client who are a leading energy company in Houston is searching for a Senior Geologist to join their focused geotechnical team and oversee their global exploration portfolio.

In this pivotal role, you will be a recognized expert, providing critical technical input across diverse projects. With your broad expertise in regional geological analysis, you will generate, assess, and recommend creative exploration concepts. Your strong data integration skills will be invaluable in conducting basin-scale evaluations, prospect risking, and CRS mapping.

Key responsibilities :

Conduct integrated petroleum systems analysis and regional geological evaluations

Generate creative exploration concepts and assess risks from basin to prospect scale

Model source rocks, hydrocarbon generation, migration, entrapment

Identify emerging geochemistry and modeling technologies

Provide technical leadership across diverse projects

Requirements :

Degree in Geology / Geochemistry

15+ years experience, 8+ years international

Expertise in petroleum systems analysis and geochemistry

Proficient in regional geology, concept generation

Experience with Zetaware, basin modeling, Kingdom, Petrel

Strong communicator and presenter

Willingness to travel internationally
