Census Field Supervisor

Responsibilities :

• Supervise census takers.
• Monitor their progress and performance.
• Ensure that the quality of work is maintained and that work is completed on time.
• Use Census Bureau-issued devices (e.g. smartphones or tablets) to conduct their work.

Hours :

Schedules typically follow regular business hours but offer flexibility. These positions may also require working shifts on specific days, evenings, or weekends.

Location :

Some work can be done from home, while other work is done in the field and requires travel to various locations. Supervisors will conduct field observations, follow-up on issues in the field, and perform other fieldwork as required.

Hiring Timeline :

Most job offers will be made between November 2025 and February 2026. However, opportunities may periodically become available due to employee turnover or changing needs.
