Financial Planning Analyst

Come join a fantastic team! Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for partnering with our business on key areas along with creating financial reports to assist the managing director to effectively manage the business. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in sales, marketing and finance.

The Financial Planning Analyst position is critical in helping build financial models, assisting in compensation plans / reporting for our sales team, and supplementing sales in driving strong financial decisions. The financial analyst must also build strong internal customer relationships.

This position reports to the Finance FP&A Manager - Americas and is part of the Finance and Accounting team located in Deerfield, IL and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

Act as business partner and create financial reports in order to help the managing director better manage the business area

Prepare and analyze sales and margin plus annual cost center budgets in order to ensure the business area sets realistic goals for the growth in sales and profits.

Prepare income statement forecasts and substantiate any budget deviations to ensure that the business area is on track to achieve its commitments to the corporation

Participate in supporting SOX tests and Financial audits, as needed

Assist in Sales Commission process including monthly accruals, calculation and analysis for businesses supported by role

The essential requirements of the job include

Required bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience in finance

Proficient at creating financial models for rollout through the business

MS Office advanced user (especially Excel)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

• ERP knowledge of SAP and BW is a plus

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
