Software Engineer (Hayward)

We are supporting an early-stage AI company in hiring a Software Engineer to build the core systems powering intelligent, judgment-based automation for large enterprises. This team is creating an enterprise AI layer that learns each customers data topology, workflows, rules, and quality bar, enabling agents to drive measurable outcomes across engineering, finance, consulting, and operations.

What You Will Do

You will architect and ship end-to-end product features that enable users to interact with fast, precise agents capable of planning, executing, and iterating in real time. This includes building rich editors, interactive dashboards, and sub-100ms Autopilot experiences.

You will design integrations across enterprise systems such as Google Workspace, O365, Slack, and Linear. You will help shape the learning flywheel that converts expert feedback into better agent reasoning. You will collaborate closely with product and design to translate customer insights into scalable capabilities used across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

Build full-stack features across TypeScript, React, and Python

Develop real-time interfaces where users observe agent reasoning and execution

Design integrations with internal tools and third-party enterprise systems

Contribute to the architecture that grounds agents in institutional data

Collaborate with product, design, and customer teams to ship high-impact features

Ideal Background

Up to 5 years of professional software engineering experience

Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Python

Experience building web applications at high quality and speed

Exceptional personal or open source projects count toward experience

Work Environment

This is an in-person, high-intensity environment with a deeply collaborative team of around twelve engineers and researchers. The culture is rigorous, ownership-driven, and built around fast iteration and constant execution. The team includes alumni from Apple AI, Microsoft Research, Google, Stripe, and Ramp.
