Hydro Engineer

Job Title : Hydro Engineer Location : Minneapolis, Minnesota Type : Contract Compensation : $58.00 - $61.00 hourly Contractor Work Model : Onsite System One is currently seeking a Hydro Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN. Hydro Engineer Responsibilities : Support hydro plant projects due to internal reorganization Will work approximately 10 projects per year across 25 hydro facilities (primarily in WI one in MN) Develop bid / design specifications Coordinate projects from initiation through closeout Work with Hydro plant management and contractors Travel required to hydro sites (seasonal : summer / fall for construction; winter / spring for design / closeout) 20-30% travel to sites mostly summer / fall seasons Hydro Engineer Requirements : Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical Controls or Civil / Structural) from ABET accredited university Valid Drivers License Proficiency in Microsoft Office FE / EIT certification preferred PE License is a plus PMP certification or project management background preferred SAP Scheduling tools preferred Minimum of 2 years engineering experience Hydro or industrial experience strongly preferred Hydro familiarity (6+ months) is a plus System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
