job_description.job_card.job_descriptionGreet patients and obtain necessary clinical, financial, and demographic information. Assist providers during examinations and treatment, performing procedures as directed. Conduct clinical intake in accordance with our policies and procedures. Manage office tasks such as verifying insurance, collecting copays, and scheduling appointments. Assist with screenings per physician orders and document all information accurately. Maintain education requirements and demonstrate competency in your position. You may be required to assist with minor procedures and travel to different locations as needed. At least 1 year of practical medical assisting experience and one of the following certifications : American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - CMA American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) - CMAC American Medical Technologists (AMT) - RMA National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) - NRCMA National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) - NCMA National Healthcareer Association (NHA) - CCMA American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Work Schedule : Full Time, Days Mon-Fri, 7 : 30am to 5 : 00pm.
Locations : Monday - Web at 123 E. Main Street, Brevard, NC and Thursday at 50 Hospital Drive, Suite 2D, Hendersonville. Fridays may be at either office with rotation for answering phones.
