Shift Details : Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday Nights 7 : 00 PM-7 : 30 AM

Work Location : Crisis - Bridge Center For Hope; Baton Rouge, LA

Summary of Job : The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN position also services as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Administers medication as required by protocol.

Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.

Performs other related duties assigned.

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.

Must be able to pass a seven-year background check.

A Nursing Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.

Physical Demands :

May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and / or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment

May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and / or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Pay Range : $43 - $45 per hour
