How youll contribute

APharmacy Technician who excels in this role :

• Prepare and label patient drug orders as directed by the pharmacist.
• Deliver medications to medication rooms and nursing stations as appropriate.
• Review anticipated admissions and medication administration records (MAR) to plan deliveries to automated dispensing machines.
• Restock usable medications / IVs returned to the pharmacy; file medication orders per department procedure.
• Replenish automated medication dispensing machines and document activities per policy.
• Communicate stock utilization and ordering needs; assist with ordering inventory and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Education : High school diploma or GED.

Registration : Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy as required by state regulations.

Certification : Pharmacy Technician Certification as required by state regulations.

Skills : Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to follow written / verbal instructions; familiarity with automated dispensing systems and inventory workflows; dependable communication and teamwork; basic computer proficiency.
