Senior Salesforce Power BI Developer
Join Ferguson's Decision Support Center (DSC) and help shape the future of operational reporting. This role focuses on delivering high-impact Power BI solutions that provide operational clarity, strategic insights, and predictive analytics to our Sales team and its leadership.
Location :
This role is open to remote work across the United States or hybrid out of Ferguson's corporate offices in Newport News, VA, according to company policy. The ability to work East Coast working hours highly preferred.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and deploy
Power BI dashboards and reports
to support Salesforce-related business functions.
Integrate data from
Salesforce, Azure, Databricks , and other sources into Power BI for scalable reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders across
Sales, Sales Enablement, and Strategy
to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Apply advanced
DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization techniques
to ensure usability and efficiency for large datasets.
Partner
with Tableau developers and other
DSC team members
to ensure consistency and alignment across platforms.
Provide
technical guidance and mentorship
to junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Communicate effectively
with both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure clarity and alignment.
Stay current with
Power BI capabilities, data modeling best practices, governance standards, and emerging trends
in enterprise analytics.
Support
data quality, security, and compliance
across all reporting solutions.
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree
in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience
developing Power BI dashboards, including complex data modeling, DAX, and performance tuning.
Experience integrating Power BI with
Salesforce data
and other cloud-based platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks).
Strong
SQL skills
and familiarity with
ETL processes, APIs, and custom connectors .
Proven ability to think strategically and creatively about data's role in solving business problems.
Familiarity with
predictive analytics, AI / ML concepts , and Power BI AI features.
Excellent
communication
and stakeholder
engagement
skills.
Self-starter with a passion for
innovation, business impact, and continuous improvement .
Power BI certification(s) preferred.

Pay Range :
$6,000.30 - $13,016.30 -
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles
OR
Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
