Providence Staffing is seeking a responsible and dependable Driver to operate a company-owned van for daily transportation of our employees to and from assigned job sites. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our employees arrive safely and on time while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely transport Providence Staffing employees to and from designated work sites on a daily schedule.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the company van.
  • Ensure all employees are accounted for before departure and upon arrival at each location.
  • Maintain open and timely communication with the dispatcher and staffing office.
  • Report any incidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly.
  • Ensure all riders follow safety rules, including the use of seatbelts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Eligibility Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Familiarity with Columbus, GA and surrounding cities is preferred.
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed.

  • Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
