As a PCT Epic Credentialed Trainer , you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

Job Overview

Credentialed Trainer for non-licensed staff in the nursing areas

This position will train the following :

  • New Hire Patient Care Technicians Routine courses and 1 : 1s due to school schedules not accommodating planned classroom training
  • New Hire Clerical Associates
  • New Hire Patient Safety Attendants
  • Upgrade training for Patient Care Technicians
  • Training on routine Epic updates or optimizations
  • Developing Epic training curriculum for Dietary staff
  • Developing Epic training curriculum for Departure Lounge PCTs
  • Developing Epic training curriculum for Mental Health Techs (they currently attend floor PCT class)
  • Developing Epic training curriculum for Clerical Associate (they currently attend floor PCT class)

    • This position will also support the following :

  • Representative on PCT Council
  • Routine rounding on nursing units with PCT / CA / PSA staff
  • Assistance with teaching PCT class stations

    • Certifications / Licenses / Education

    Education and experience in a health related or adult education field preferred. Prefer candidate with hospital based Patient Care Tech (PCT) experience

    Epic Proficiency certification within 1 year
