Role Description
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee and manage electrical projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and successful delivery. This position requires working out of our New Rochelle office as well as visiting active project sites throughout New York City as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with clients, Supervision, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules
- Manage project budgets and financial performance
- Track job costs throughout the full life cycle of each project, including labor, materials, and change orders
- Work closely with operations and accounting to ensure accurate, timely billing and documentation
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards
- Oversee compliance with industry regulations, codes, and safety requirements
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed
- Maintain clear communication and reporting throughout each project
Qualifications
Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Electrical SystemsExperience in Electrical Contracting and Electrical DesignAbility to manage project budgets effectivelyStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsFamiliarity with industry regulations, codes, and safety standardsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceExperience with project management software is a plus
